At the Christening Event on September 23, 2107 at the Boathouse, KSRA will auction to the highest bidder the right to name a shell.

Our auctioneer, Jeff Ruckert, is accepting pre-auction online bids until 4:00 PM on the day of the even and, 

at that time, the online bids for each shell will become the starting bid of the auction for each shell.

After the auction of a particular shell, that shell will then be Named & Christened. Presence at the auction

would be helpful but not a necessity.

​

Out Auctioneer will also be selling to the highest bidder, a Spruce Wooden Sweep Oar. These particular oars are the first oars that

K-State used back in the 60's & 70's and have become a keepsake for many rowers.
